Welcome to Music Camp at Rysons Studio for March Break. Experience the enjoyment of a musical gathering and meeting new music friends. Classes are all taught by professional and experienced teachers, with lots of enthusiasm for your future. The camps consist of a new “Fiddle Jam Camp,” “Rock Band Camp,” “Musical Theatre,” “Beginning guitar” and Introduction with training for Voice. Make your dreams come true. Learn to play the fiddle, become a Rock Star, Musical Theatre Actor performing from High School Musical or sing a song from Miley Cyrus or your favourite star.
Fiddle Camp: March 16th at Rysons Studio. Teachers: Beth Bartley, Mike Mattie, and Grace Barnhart. Time will be 10:30 to 4:00, break for supper, return for jam session. Instrument can be supplied if needed. Beginners and experienced students, young children and adults. everyone is welcomed. PRICE IS $35.00
Rysons Rock Band Camp. Teachers David Tufford, Jordan Phelan and Tim Popek. Time will be 10:30 to 3:30. Group can consist of drums, guitar, bass, singer and keyboard. Learn different styles of music, how to play in a group, and how to keep proper timing. You will also make a CD of your performance. Rock camps are a lot of fun. Price is $40.00.
Musical Theatre and Vocal Camps. Enter the world of Annie, Oliver, The Sound of Music, High School Musical, and many more Broadway shows that you will perform and sing. Vocal lessons will ensure proper techcnique for singing. You can learn to sing POPULAR, COUNTRY , BROADWAY, ITALIAN, FRENCH and many of your favourite songs depending on your age and voice skills. Time is 10:30 to 3:30. Price is 35:00. Have your dreams come true become a diva for a day or two.

What a great way to celebrate the day before St. Patrick’s Day. We had 24 Fiddlers here to learn to play the fiddle from 9.0 to 8.30. A great day . Special thanks to Beth . Grace. Mike, Patrick and the surprise guests from old time fiddlers group for our jam session. Watch for next sessions.

Rock’n Roll band camp was rock’n awsome. I think we had three of the best teachers… Dave,Tim and Jordan. We learned two new songs today. I had a great time!!! I will be at the next one. will you?

When I came into the studio at the end of Both Camps, it was inspiring to see and hear the happy kids,who have spent the day learning and playing. The laughter and high spirits were awesome.

Band camp was awesome and i am definatly doing it again.I learned three new awesome songs and i got to play with the golden hammers.It was totally wicked.

Band camp was the best. I learned cool new songs and I loved it. Dave, Tim & Jordan, thanks for teaching us everything. That was a great experience!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Band camp was so cool! I learned a lot of new stuff in guitar like tips on how to solo right off the spot. I also learned two cool songs, that now I know how to play. It was really fun so I am most likely going to the next.

I showed up for the jam session in the evening at fiddle day camp…it was a lot of fun. We played a set of reels that must have went on for 20-30 mins! Great shoulder workout!! Awesome turnout and everyone was having a great time. Hope to see more jam sessions like this.

I had a really good time at rock band camp. Learning to keep tune while other people are playing their instruments was a lot of fun. I’d definitely like to do this again…….Brennan

The Fiddle Workshop was GREAT!!!
I had a wonderful time teaching everyone! Great students! Great enthusiasm! Great playing! I hope I can get the opportunity to do this again sometime, it was a fantastic day!
Thanks to all of you who came out and helped make it such a fun experience. Thanks to Anne Deyme for providing the space of her studio for all of the workshops over March break!
